Predictors of Uptake and Completion of Hepatitis B Vaccine amongst Health Care Personnel in a Rural Teaching Hospital in South-South Nigeria

Hepatitis B and C viral infections are amongst the most critical occupation-related in hospital workplace. This study assesses determinants of uptake completion hepatitis vaccine health care personnel (HCP) a tertiary facility South-South, Nigeria. employs descriptive cross-sectional design, data were collected using quantitative method. Pre-tested, semi-structured interviewer-administered questionnaires administered to 280 HCP. The IBM SPSS version 21.0 was used for analysis. About half HCP had received first dose vaccine, with less than that number completing third dose. It is significantly higher core healthcare professionals non-healthcare professionals.
